Is anyone else as pissed as I am about there still being the inability to trade future draft picks?

Also, when are they going to just put Practice Squads in the damn game?

I agree on both, the inability to trade future picks is a major problem. The practice is also one I agree with you as well.

Default Does anyone know if/what (if there are any) new additions to the Franchise Mode?

I haven't heard a whole lot about the Franchise mode this year, as it plays a major role in Maddens success to date. Hopefully, I just haven't been paying attention. Anyways, just wanted to know if we are going to see anything new this year and if so What are the changes/additions and if they haven't changed do you expect to see them let the cat out of the bag just right before it realeases. (perhaps a major marketing strategy to increase sales as it would be new and fresh upon arrival)

Anyways, if you don't know of anything or just very little, I'm open to what your best guess to what it is we'd might expect.

Shuoldn't they have all workouts in the offseason? Like rookie practcie, rookie and veteran practice?
And shouldn't practice be played in practice gear, not full uniforms?

Also, I'm kind of upset with the draft picking, they give you one drill and act like you can figure out the rest. I think madden should do 3 drills per person (i,e; WR drills: 40 yd dash, WR/CB scrimmage, weight lift) just so you know what your getting, but thats personal

I'm just focused right about now, cus it lacks a whole lot. I believe we should have all the 3 month workouts that all football teams have, including drills for each position, scrimmage, OL/DL battle, WR/CB battle, whole nine yards, especially when players get better or worse after the season to see what you are working with and how your going to use them before the season starts....

    Or maybe thats Head Coach...idk.

Default Potential Coaching Candidtes or lack of........

Let's say you are in Franchise/Dynasty mode Year 15 and you have Champ Bailey as your Head Coach. In turn He will help out the secondary CB's in particular by boosting them +7 AGI +7 ZCV +7 MCV (these are not the exact ratings, just an example). Whch this makes sense so Far, Right?

Now Moving along, Lets say you've created a DE and he is rated 99 in every category Even kicking and passing for crying out loud!-and lets say it is year 18 and he retired 3 years ago. He will then be eligible to become a coach or Head Coach with some kind of +7 TAK +7 STR +7 AGI (or some other rating combination). So far this all makes sense right!!!

Now, let's say whether you are in year 1, 15 or 25 and you select a QB's Coach to be your Team's Head Coach. Now the highest person you can select is Josh Mcdaniels +5 PAS +3 AWR +5 PAC Passing, Awareness, Pass Accuracy.

Now that being said. When Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, or Brett Favre retires they happen to be an elite level as is Champ Baley is to CB's. And Yet they aren't even available to be potential Coaches l(ike Jim Zorn is to Washington Redskins). I've even created my own QB 99 reting in all categories even run and pass blocking! Wait for him to retire wait a couple of years to go by and he is nowhere to be found as a coaching candidate.

Now Why can't we let our Franchise QB or any QB become a coach afer he retires? Answer me that.

The Next ? Why can't Coaches have a little more impact, such as the likes of Mike Holmgren and a few other outstanding coaches?

Ya. I'm not impressed by the Franchise mode this year. It's really similar to 09.

The Off-Season (Not-Online) mode is definately a little bit baetter, but on the same note they took a few things out that I liked in Madden 08-09.

The one thing I really liked was the ability to actually scout players as in 08-09 it didn't seem to be all togerther. The one potential drawback I found was that if you decided to scout someone else you had picked previously in week 1 and now let's say it's week 5 You'll lose a lot of information in that time because each week it will scout a players feature exg.. Injury-Fully Scouted 83 or Awareness Full Scouted 79 and so on and so on. But you Fully Scout 1 specific category each week for each player scouted . Another plus side is that you find Great (Not Poor) players in the 5th and 6th round this way-so as long as you have a coach(es) who can specilaize in that area-your sure to find a solid starter for cheap. Lock him in for 7 years at 310 K With no Bonus-that sure helps the Salary Cap if you know what I mean.

08-09 when you are at the draft table aside from looking at the polygon Bubble (5 sided shape with 5 Attributes in each corner Exg. AWR, SPD, AGI, ACC, TAK) Anyways, other than looking at the polygon it would tell you special things you need to know about the player such as: College scouts Rave about his hands, Matt-Hasselbeck type, is injury prone, Career Backup and so on and so on, and, if You pressed R3 it would compare that player with someone you are aware of Exg. Champ Bailey, D. ware, Walter Jones, Randy Moss, etc...) Which was cool. But it seems to have been missed in 2010.

Now Trading Players for Draft Picks, it seemed liked in 08-09 it was too easy to get the #1 Overall Pick (Sign the 3 top Free agent-no kickers or punters and trade them for the # 1 pick-you'd gett every time. In 2010 it's merely impossible-I had to Give up Mcnabb 92, Westbrook 94 and Chris McCalister 86 for a # 1 pick that's giving up an awfuil lot if you know what i mean.

My biggest Disappointment was the Create-a-Team/Create-a-Stadium feature other than changing the glow of the field nothing was changed. i honestly think that it wouldn't of hurt for Madden to swap out the old logos for some new fresh and cool ones at the Very least.

Overall I love the Game I Give it a solid A, compared to 2009 I gave a D and 08 a B-as far as Gameplay-and I'm so Glad they got Rid of the Icons that were underneath key players (Exg. Rocket Passer, Brick Wall Defender, Hard Hitter, Accurate QB/K/P, etc...)

As far as the Franchise Mode itself (Off-Season) in 2008 I gave it a "C", in 2009 I gave it an "F-" (lack of improvement) and 2010 I give it a "B-", because they did improve it, but felt they took out too many thingss as I I explained above and Failed to improve the Create-a-Team/Stadium feature ESPECIALLY the LOGO's.
