Default BRETT FAVRE making a comeback....AGAIN?

According to Biglamb (MADDENFANS HOMEPAGE) and foxsports.com points out that the Jets granted Favre his release and speculation is Minnisota is taking a serious long look at Favre, as Favre is out to GET REVENGE on the GB Packers anyways... Interesting to see how this story will play out...

I have to honestly say.........I think FAVRE WILL be back............

I think I basically speak for everyone when I say, "Go away Brett!" - he is embarrassing himself now and bouncing from team to team trying to keep what is left of his career going because he is selfish.

I have to disagree with you. What's wrong with still wanting to play football if there's plenty of juice in the tank. The biggest problem with Favre is that he shouldn't be anouncing that he retiring. But lets look at this from his shoes. You play as hard as you can and by the end of having a great season with GREEN BAY. The first thing that comes to your mind is throwing an interception as your final pass deep in the playoffs REALLY gets to you and this could possibly be your very last game. 2nd would be is your sore, tiired, Your exhausted after playing 16 games + Pre-Season + make it to the Conference game + Not to forget training camp/practice. (so then what is immediately on your mind is taking down time and yes he knows he's getting older is is rather undecided what he truly really wants to do. So what happens next is The Packers want immediate answers and though he isn't quite sure-HE's rushed to make a decision-So he Anounces his Retirement. Well a few months go by and at the time Last Season is still lingering in his head and that is not the game he wants his legacy to be remembered as. So he basically says he was wrong HE really wants to come back.

We all know what happens next-Green Bay Tells him no and basically tells him to go away or Stay as an Ambasador for GB. That is NOT what Favre wants. He wants to play and at GB. So he was pissed and felt that GB given up on him as they did.

So even though it's all been denied last year we all know Brad Childress (Vikings Coach) and Favre had talks. What would that do for Favre. He'd be on a team that could contend-Good Defense, Good Run Game, Good OL and Wr were overall good-and Favre is very familiar and comfortable with the WEST Coast Offense-This would put him in postion to make it back to the Superbowl and get back At Green Bay. Green Bay say's hell no-they allow him to be traded but only to a different conference in which we all know that he lands with the Jets. Favre puts up realy good numbers and obviously struggled the last month.

So what happens next-Favre lays low under the Radar and announces his retirement. So the Jets draft a franchise QB-and Favre asks the Jets for his release and they do. Smartly (If that's even a word) and legally well done. because now he can play for any team. And since Brad Childress and him already show serious interest in each other and they both want to beat up on the Packers now they can. Even if Favre plays at 70% of his talent the defense and run game should be able to take care of the rest.

The only harm I See is the amount of Favre Over exposure and the GB Fans who feel let down by him-Remember GB quit on him and that he still had the heart and desire to play for them and was denied.

I'm really curious, lets' say Minnisotta actually makes it to the Superbowl and they were to win. I wonder what people would be saying about Brett Favre then

I love the idea of Favre coming back. To me it shows that just because your old doesn't mean you can't play. We all love the Jon Elways and Joe Montana's and etc... Unfortunately it all faides away no disrepect intended-To give you an example Jim Kelly (if any you remember him) He was an Excellent QB, When was the last time you heard of him. I think that if Favre played for GB last year it my have just been enough to get them into the Superbowl. I really honestly think that and it may be completely off base. abd I think that is what he is after. Imagine if He throws his final pass for a TD in Overtime in the Superbowl imaganie what that would do to his legacy. And For many many many years even after we are all long gone people would still be talking about what he did.

I know many of you disagree and think there is no way he is going to be able to do this or have done that-I think that these are some of the factors that are going on in his head.

Before you start critisizing Favre-At the very least put yourself in his shoes and be open minded and put yourself in his situation. factor all this plus my last post before you come to your conclusion-and though you'd probably do someting different at least you'd understand where he stands and why.
