Whats so funny is that with all these roster updates it would seem as if you guys down at EA are doing a great jod when you kinda are but there’s so much more that can be done to improve the overall play of the game. For one why cant you guys update playbooks.Every week there should be updated playbooks and any play that any team uses should be in that playbook. The miami dolphins have been using a new wildcat formation and we have to wait a full year just to get that package and you guys still might not get every play in that package.I have so many complaints about this year’s game. For example the run block is horendous iv ran the ball in a i form normal and ive seen the defense in a 3-2-6 dime package and the nose tackle on defense tackled my tailback for a loss of 1 yard I mean thats no where near real.Second too many teams have the wildcat and half of these teams dont run it or they only ran it once last year.there should be 3 teams with the wildcat Dolphins,Panthers,49ers.I mean the dam bengals ,cowboys, and stellers have it .I’m confused. And then you guys leave out the Jets with no Wildcat yet the probably ran it the most last year behind Miami.Playbook updates are needed because without them why use the Eagles and even think of putting Mike Vick in the game when his throw accuracy is horrible there’s no package for him to run so he;s useless.Out of the wildcat we can’t audible and i understand the reason for restrictions on that but at least let us audible when were passing from the Wildcat.Good gamers have memorized the routes for the wildcat and they aline their defense to stop the pass since they now where it has to go.Then we cant even roll out in the wildcat and throw a pass.i dont know what you guys saw but when ronnie brown threw a td vs the Pats he rolled way out almost to the sideline he didnt stand stationary in the pocket with that heavy blitz coming.EA you really need to evaluate your product you put out I mean 60 dollars a pop you guys are making a fortune over a product that we all know can be a lot better. You should consider someone like myself a true sports gamer.A playbook nut and one who knows what the gamers/public want.My email is harlemkiid149@yahoo.com….give me a shout EA i can help your product.

Where’s the Seattle alternate jersey? Come on now, you can’t say it’s not ready or available since you had Aaron Curry in it to show off the first round picks. Get it together guys.

Can you guys please add user stats, back in the Madden 2010 game as an update or if it’s in the game, where would it be! I would like to see how many wins I have offline against other users. I would like to check my passing, rushing, receiving, and defense stats(att., comp., yds., avg yds per game, etc.) and what you done against individual players in the game you played that day. Show the win and lost records like in previous Maddens. Can you please make this a download or an update. I’m a dedicated fan to Madden since 1988-present(2010)

  4. Rich says:

The three commenter’s before me just saved me a lot of typing. All points spot on.

  5. Seth says:

For the upcoming patch I think EA should explain each stat. For example, they should explain THA(throw accuracy). But there is also SAC(short accuracy), MAC(medium accuracy), and DAC(deep accuracy). This is confusing. At first I thought SAC, MAC, and DAC averaged into THA, but i was wrong. I’m beginning to think THA is irrelevant in this game. I think that SAC, MAC, and DAC define the accuracy of a quarterback pass. You explain to us what the difference is EA. Also, I have another issue with run blocking and pass blocking. There is RBK (run block…which seems to be insignificant like i think THA is.), there is RBS, and RBF…as well as IBL. I think RBS (run block strength) is how long a offensive lineman, most commonly, will hold a block. I think RBF (run block footwork) is how quick they can turn and adjust themselves to speedy defensive players during a run play of course. I don’t see the difference that IBL (impact blocking) makes whether it is 5 or 95. I wanted to fool around and try and figure the stats out one day, so I created a player. A right offensive tackle to be exact. I put IBL, RBK, and RBF down to 10. Then, I put RBS up to 95. The offensive tackle still blocked his opponent well. I was able to pick up at least 5 yards for every run play to his side. Ultimately, I don’t see the impact of impact blocking, as well as these other stats i have mentioned. It seems that if RBS is high, then the other stats accumulated with run blocking have miniscule significance. The same goes for throw accuracy. If the player’s DAC is high, will it be highly accurate regardless of how high THA is? . I’m still uncertain, and I think most of us are. We need some verification of these newly entered stats. Thank you.

  6. Seth says:

and whats up with the left joystick in accordance to running. After I intercept a pass, i hold the left joystick up, towards the endzone to score. As I hold up, my defensive player will juke approximately 2 times before running in a straight motion…? Never witnessed this happen anytime a pass has been intercepted. Even when the defensive player has his back turned towards the endzone he must run to after he picked off a pass…he would just turn around and start running. In Madden 2010, if the defender has his back to the endzone he must reach to score a touchdown and you hold the direction of the joystick that corresponds to where to you must go, which is up…i have only witnessed a couple of jukes before i begin to run. FIX THAT.

  7. wheres chase daniel at come on now

  8. Lee says:

I to agree…I run with the Vikings..and this year they have the wildcat in there playbook..it allows them to use Percy Harvin..but becuz they didnt use it last year its not in this years madden. The updates should def include updated playbooks!!

  9. Sean says:

When does Cam Wake make the roster… He was hugh in the CFL(30 some sacks in 2 years) and a bunch of teams were after him this offseason. Not to mention he had a pretty good break out game on Sunday (3 sacks).

  10. Seth says:

cameron wake has been in the game…

  11. Tyrone says:

Does anyone know if you can update your roster in a franchise mode when a new roster becomes available?

  12. Tim says:

When will Brett Favre get a increase a mean come on he has 8 td and only 1 int. he is also the 3rd rated qb only behind P manning and D Brees.

  13. Rich says:

The newest update is due out friday, at least according to the video that plays on the online menu.

  14. Armando alvarez says:

You guys should make us be able to change the appearences of each player for every diffrent uniform in Madden 11.For example, Mario Williams wears 2nd TC(Red) half sleeves with the red uniform and TC half sleeves with the home uniform and white half sleeves with the away uniform.

  15. Armando Alvarez says:

You should put 99 OVR on Andre Johnson on Madden 11.And common you put Matt Shaub 79 OVR in Madden 10.I suggest you put Matt Shaub at least 91 OVR for being the leagues leader in passing yards

  16. Settles says:

does anyone have the roster file as a saved file with these updated ratings?
