Madden NFL 10 – Vick signs with Philadelphia Eagles

The biggest new in the NFL and probably in Madden NFL 10 in the last 24 hours was the signing of Michael Vick to the Philadelphia Eagles. Vick is not exactly getting a warm reception by Philadelphia fans as most of the responses have been quite negative. As for what this means for Madden NFL 10? Michael Vick will be added to the roster update due out Aug. 19th. I also mange to stumble across some of his ratings that were posted on twitter.
Vick’s Ratings: 73 OVR, 90 SPD, 94 AGILITY, 92 ACCELERATION, 93 THROW POWER, 92 ELUSIVENESS.
This was posted by Anthony Stevenson – Sr. Product Manager – Madden NFL. He goes on to say that Vick’s overall rating is hurt by his accuracy.
Despite that I believe Vick will be giving defenses fits in Madden NFL 10. I expect to see a lot of players use him over McNabb just for his running abilities. We will see and we will be sure to keep you updated.

I’m glad that michael Vickhas been signed. Time served for a terrrible deed and he has been forgiven and it’s time to move on. However I dont believe the Philadelphia Eagles was neccessarily the right move for Vick. They already have a well established QB so Vick would’ve been better off goin to the Patriots were they have the same type of overall team like Eagles except they’re arguably one of the top 3 teams in the NFL. I really thought the Panthers would’ve been perfect for Vick. Two stud running backs. Steve Smith Mushin Muhhammad and now Dwyane Jarrett coming alone, with a pretty darn good defense. Not to mention a QB who has been established but has been inconsitent. And whose to say that last year if the Panthers had Vick they could’ve beaten the Cardinals in the playoffs because Vick wouldn’t have thrown 5 picks. They may have won the super bowl. But thats beside the fact now that he’s an eagle. I hope they’re offfensive coordinator is creative and I’ll end it on that.

wat is his accuracy? wat is his speed? wat is his acceleration? did anthony stevenson train him ever since he came out of jail NO! give a week and then do ratings on him or see his first preseason game, then all of that wat be put together right.
Ever since coming to the NFL, Micheal Vick arm was questioned, well here is the answer. They say in his NFL career he has an 52% completed passer rating; fact ever since coming in the NFL he never had a get open type wideout, Alge Crumpler a TE, Brain Finneran a possesion WR because of his size never was a deep threat and Warrick Dunn the RB who cotted BALLS better than all of ATL’s WR’s was his best wideouts who held on to the ball when thrown to, Pairless Price was a bust; the big time wideout who just got the big contract extension with ATL this offseason was a rookie full of fear of getting hit when he played withVick and he drop BALLS, not ball, BALLS, which led to the signing of veteran WR Joe Horn the following season but the dogs incedent cause that connection never to happen. He was drafted number 1 overall as a QB because owners and coaches saw a QB first athleticism second, he has that powerful arm, he has that accuracy but if he had no strong offensive line which led to the best ever so far rushing QB to play in the NFL and the numbers speaks for him, no WR who couldn’t get separation on DB’s and who didn’t drop BALLS, he would of been rite there with the Tom Brady, or Peyton Manning as one of the best or thee best QB in the league because of his complete athleticism before the dog incedent. Now the signing with the Philadelphia Eagles rite now for Vick is the best talented team he’s ever been on in his entire football career, if he do gets in football shape and gets playing time am in fear for Donovan Mcnabb that his decision don’t comeback on him, but Philadelphia is the city of brotherly love and do hope that D.M and M.V, friendship is transparent to the slogan because Vick is that good but never had this type of talent surrounding him. Okay personally I think vick is a great fit for this team I’m not just saying that cause I’m a philadelphia fan but the offense we bring to the table. He will go good with our wildcat offense we can use him when we need to.he’s a runner which is good mcnabb really can’t run anymore that’s a big threat to the defense I think he will take us to the super bowl this year or next..that’s all I got 2 say
I think having Vick on the eagles is an awesome idea they will come up with amazing plays for him and they will be a top contender and for his ratings i think they did a good job plus i dont think he lost much being in jail. I think he will have all his goods back in no time.
