Madden 2010 Nickel Odd-Split Blitz

On Madden 10 the Nickel Odd-Split is a defense I have seen a lot of top players use when playing in tournaments or money games. So naturally I had to take this blitz to the W.S.T Laboratory & see what I could do to this, to make it more unique

Play: Nickel Odd-Split- Tha Monster

Setup: make sure your only blitzing three & have RE ( right of screen) in a contain. I manually move the blitz yellow LB over the Center to dumb him out ( not to close ) I then blitz a LB over the LT & bring the LDB closer to the LOS so he can pass rush sooner. If hes fast enough you won’t even need the blitzing LB over the LT. Finally, make sure you put the RE in a contain to keep the QB from rolling out.

The coverage is a cover 3 shell but feel free to hot route some linebackers into purple zones.*note* if you bring the LDB who’s blitzing, if you bring him behind the LB you reblitzed over LT then you will get Pressure from between the tackle & guard, this also counters certain slide protection.
