Madden Dime blitz mini-scheme

Utilizing you team personnel such as DB speed is very lethal on madden 10. In this free tip the W.S.T Crew showcase a very unique dime blitz scheme.Play: Dime normal strong roll 3
Setup: ( Remember If flipped at play call’ screen, this play will get pressure from opposite side ) This play is found in about every playbook, it’s best used vs shotgun but is not an everydown play. I like to press coverage and man align to keep the players from moving around to much. I then blitz the MLB over the center. Next step is to then put both DT’s in contain. The left blitzing DB i hot route into a deep blue zone then put the CB on same side into a flat or purple zone. ( to get the left CB to press coverage put in purple zone & spotlight the corresponding CB hes’s guarding.) I manualy play the FS as a yellow zone over the mid. *optional- to enhance this play i like to bring the SS down towards the l.o.s so a streak isn’t a quik pass option as well as move the right side blitzing DB a lil closer to the tackles.

Play: dime normal strong roll 3
Setup: This play is also from dime normal strong roll 3 and although it gives a different look it also generates quik outside pressure which is great for containg a mobile QB. What i like to do is press coverage & man align. I then slide the D-line right then pinch, this will allow the LDT to line up directly over the Center. I put this LDT in a contain( notice how he distracts the LG/LT) I also blitz the MLB directly behind so that he engages the Center. As far as the coverage go’s, I like to put the left blitzing nickel into a deep blue and left CB in a purple zone. Finaly, I bring the FS as well as SS down into the box then play FS over middle of the field.

Play: dime strong roll 3
Setup: this is the coverage version that you mix in with the blitz to generate a pick. What I do with this play is first set it up to look the same as the blitz so pinch the line, press coverage & man align. I put the left blitzing nickel back in a flat zone,FS in a yellow hook zone( make sure you move him a yard, this will make him play yellow wherever you place him ) put LDT in a spy, RE in a purple buzz zone & right side blitzing DB in a yellow. I like to bring the SS in the box as seen from the blitz version & manualy play as the right side DB in yellow hook zone.
