This article I am going to touch base on what we think are the worst 5 teams in Madden NFL 10 this year. Yes, your team might be on our list.
Detroit Lions
There isn’t enough draft picks to fill the needs for this team. I disagree with Stafford as there draft pick when they could have traded down and filled the gaps at other positions for the same combined amount of money. This will be the worst team in Madden NFL 10 but not by much.
Cleveland Browns
What the hell happen to the Browns? From 10-6 in 2007 to the basement in 2008. Jamal Lewis isn’t as young as he use to be and with the new rating system I don’t expect him or Brady Quinn or Derek Anderson to be rated very high in the game. It would be a good challenge but only if you know the team well. The defense was under 20 sacks last year, basically was not worth the field they stepped on.
Oakland Raiders
Do I really need to say anything to back this up? Look at the draft, look at the owner. You want to end your gaming career you play with the Raiders or the Lions. The best player the Raiders have plays defense. Russell and McFadden should make a deadly combination out of the backfield if they weren’t in Oakland but the rest of team has nothing to be desired. Die hard Raiders fans will play with them not caring if they win or lose.
Cincinnati Bengals
Despite Carson Palmer and Chad Johnson this team can go either way. I think they are falling and will continue to fall. Its really too bad that such a waste of talent has to be stuck with the Bengals. Cedric Benson is the main running back and shouldn’t be better than a 79 in Madden NFL 10. I will say they acquired some talent during free agency and the draft but I would have kept Housh around for all that money.
Kansas City Chiefs
Big news here was Matt Cassell signing during the off season. This may cause some people to use the Chiefs but as the year goes on that should drop off. I am not a true believer quite yet and will be the first to say he was a one year wonder. If I am wrong so be it, but KC is not New England baby. Bowe can do his thing if you can get the ball to him and the draft looked to help the defense, but they won’t pull a Miami.
Other teams to consider: Seattle (tchonz sorry), St. Louis, NY Jets

Hey! LOL Seattle-Are you kidding me.
Look at it this way Defensively we should be better, How? We traded ROLB Julian Peterson for DT Colin Cole from Detroit. he is a lot like Rocky Bernard in 2005. Now understandbly so, he’s not going to do much, However he will be just like Rocky, for the simple use of putting a big guy in the hole to free up MLB Lofa Tatupu, So this year I will expect him to have pro bowl like cailber stats. In addition we brought back CB Ken Lucus who will play alongside Marcus Trufant and he is alot better than Kelly Jennings and Josh Wilson. thouhgh those 2 may just mature and develop nicely in the depth chart. I already mentioned we lost ROLB Julian Peterson however I honestly beilieve we got the best player (DEFENSIVELY) in the draft in ROLB Aaron Curry. And Jim Mora is installing the Tampa 2 Defense (So I’ve heard). On the Offensive side of the ball we got the best player in Free Agency in TJ Houshmandzadeh. Who will play alongside Nate Burleson and Deion Branch. Hopefully for Seattle Branch will redeem his NE Patriots form and actually do something on the field. our TE John Carlson played magnificantly last year as a rookie and seemed to be the only person able to catch the ball then. Anyways with a healthy recieving corp, a talented QB and a revamped Defense (A new Coach with a different philosophy and a healthy team with an easy scedule we should be a threat, especially if we get our confidence back (Trust me I am realistic we are probably not going to go 16-0 but at least make it to 7-9, 8-8, or 9-7 or hopefully better)
Last year we sucked we were 4-12, Injured and had every excuse in the book this year we all should be looking at each of these to progress in a positive way.
oakland will be good in this game because based on past maddens, speed is always the greatest weapon and the raiders have that on offence with Russel, McFadden, and Heyward-Bey in the mix.
the jets arent gonna be a bad team this year !?!?!?!?!?!?!? (just as the seahawks(so i agree with everything ty said)) its even like this……

and for bob…. speed isnt the greatest weapon with this madden…. its power

First the Seahawks are not better off and there has been a coaching change and a major one at that. Hasslebeck sucks more dick than a stable full of whores and is injury prone. His rating will suck in the game probably because of it. They have no running. Major changes on D but it doesn’t spell wins. Housh was the major change but still no decent run game which will make them one dimensional. The rest of the WR corp is sub par at best and time and injuries have caught them. Why the Seahawks didn’t pick up a QB is beyond me. Obviously they know Wallace is not the answer in the future.
Oakland, I stand by what I say, they will suck in Madden NFL 10. You named two players they had last year that as I said at the beginning of last season wouldn’t amount to dick and nothing will change with Tom Cable leading them. Al Davis is the most insane owner in the NFL and as long as he is there this team is in the toilet even in Madden.
As for the Jets, another year of unproven QB’s. Sanchez this, Sanchez that, he hasn’t done anything yet and word is he won’t get the starting job over Clemens. Its proven that teams also play differently when a new QB is thrown in the mix. There has been a few exceptions of decent play. (Pats last year) Plus add in the coaching change.
In your Defense you are right as far as Madden goes, but in Reality (Hopefully you are flat out dead WRONG) at least thats what I llke to see even If I may be in some serious denial.
This is not a good article at all. You don’t have any data to back it up with rosters ratings, nor do you know what your talking about. The raiders on madden were top 5 in 09, then they get another speedster and u put them last 5. WOW. that is terrible. All I got to say
Now as far as Matt Hasselbeck sucking dick…….What the fuck is that shit. Seattle needed to draft a QB? So does that mean New England needs to go out and find draft a QB because Tom Brady was injured?
What about Tony Romo, Why haven’t the Cowboys replaced him by a QB from this years draft? We all know he Certainly Sucks alot of Dick when it comes to the post season-When it actually Really matters. Top of that Dallas is pretty much giving away the talent they have left. This Yea, the Cowboys are gonna be sucking 53 dicksa from each team with the QB they have.
Now back to Seattle, Yes Matt was oft ijured last year, by drafting a QB doesn’t mean he’ll (draftee) have the kind of year Joe Flacco or Matt Ryan had last year. He (Matt) will defenitately need to be replaced within the next 5 years. Hasselbeck is still a good talented QB who just had a bad year last year.
The major need was on Defense and we got that out of the draft. It is True Seneca Wallace is not our future (we share that opinion) but he is capabale of winning some games and our defense should hold up much better to keep us in contention. It certainly can’t be worse than last year.
Oakland a top 5 team? You have got to be kidding? How laughable is that? This is no shock though. Lets take into account the new ratings system, and if the game has indeed changed speed should not be a factor unless the player breaks loose. Is it possible you overlooked that? This is just an OPINION, no one said its factual as the article before it on dominant teams. If you want news go to CNN bro. Maybe you should try your own content on your website. As for Seattle I stand by what I said, if you want to cry about it go elsewhere. Why bring up Romo? Is that your best defense? Seems your QB is a touchy subject with you. Hasslebeck is on the back end of his career. How many times has he thrown for over 4k yards? None. How many times has he thrown for over 30 TDS? None. You really want to go done this road? This is a madden article, not NFL. How about your running game? Coaching change? WR issues? Anything else you care to hit on. There are bottom 5 team in Madden in my OPINION. As I told the last person, you don’t like it don’t read it.
Okay Biglamb I’m done pestering you about the Seahawks and I know you don’t have them as the worst 5 teams, but not that far away. As for Madden 4-12 no matter what team, you are or you do in the offseason with that record your team doesn’t deserve to be considered much higher than that. Yes I will continue to cry about it but only in the NFL (non-madden) Forum (if neccessary).
I Defeinately will give you this I’ve gone back and read alot on this site over time and in most cases I agree ALOT with you…As much as I hate to say it I’m wrong. It’s quite obviuos that you know what you talking about. I get the Vibe that if you didn’t know what you were talking about ,you would have probably not have gone out and created this site.
