Well the final Madden 2009 roster update has been released. This means that all players came off the IR. EA put a lot of effort in this update to represent the players performances over this season. This should make the community extremely happy and hopefully a sign of things to come.
We have no detailed list at this time so feel free to post anything you might notice and comments about the update. A few noticeable changes, John Carlson from 79 to 89, Joe Flacco up to 84, Chad Johnson dropping to 92, Kurt Warner up to 95, and Michael Turner up to 95. LT is also on the drop again to 95. Be sure and post if you guys see anything else.

EA hopes to have the final Madden roster out by next week. This will be the final one for 2009 and will include the removal of players from the IR. It will not be limited to the teams that were in the playoffs as it will include updates for the entire NFL.
From what I hear this will be the biggest update yet, with major changes to go along with the performances over the season and also take care of players who may have been looked over. That should be good news for the Madden community.

Finally now that the holidays are over the Madden roster updates are back with #17 which should be out Friday. There should be one more following the divisional playoffs but no word if there will be one after the Conference Championships. We should close out the year with the final update after the Super Bowl.
There are finally a few changes I think people will be impressed with.

The 16th roster update was released on Fri. There still was not any movement in ratings of the players that have been consistent or on the ones who have flat out sucked this year. Seems EA doesn’t seem to be covering all the ground as the season rolls to an end for many teams.
This weekend also represents the last regular season game to ever be played in Texas Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. Above is what the new stadium is to look like.

The newest roster update is due to break tomorrow. I have to stay I am not so impressed with the way some of the players have been updated. Many over rated players and too many under rated players. I will let you decide though.
