Madden 10 Tips – 46 Normal Zone Blitz
Madden 10 Nano Blitz:
Play: 46 normal zone blitz
Breakdown: Make sure you have fast SS, OLB and or MLB. The pressure will come from the outside if they pinch their offensive line so a speed LOLB or SS is key to getting a pick or INT. If they do aggressive slide protect or nothing at all to the O line then the pressure will come up the middle. This middle pressure can be brought from the ROLB or MLB whichever is more suitable from your personnel, as seen with the Seahawks I have Aaron Curry as the ROLB and leroy hill LOLB as well as my corner (Josh Wilson- 95 speed) at the SS position to bring the right side outside pressure. To get the pressure from the LOLB and SS you must reblitz them and move them about 4 yards away from the tackles and as close to the LOS as possible. The first thing I do however is freeze the defense (man align) so that none of the LB’s move around to far, this will save time for when you bring them to their spots. The MLB I put right over the LG as close as possible and blitz him straight down, the right side ROLB I blitz behind him but a little more to the inside hip so he can come through between the LG & C clean. Finally just setup the outside pressure like I previously stated. *optional- I like to put the RDT in a spy as seen in video. The reasoning for this is because I can dumb out the tackles and guards so they are out of play. What I do is hold LT while I’m using the RDT after hes in a spy. When the ball is hiked he will stand straight up and not move, after 2 seconds I drop him back into coverage as seen in video. Be sure and check our Ebook section for more great guides and tips.

Madden 10 Offensive Tip
Madden 10 Tips for MaddenFans.com:
Breakdown: Make sure slot receiver is on short side of the field. Make sure the outside receiver on same side of short side is tall and fast, (rocket catch/motion quick hike) motion him 1 full step then hike, he will burn man and man press if done correctly. Put opposite iso receiver in a drag route. Make sure you do dual HB package unless you have good TE. I also like to put a tall receiver/TE in the slot for the RC vs Cov 4. Also vs cover 4 the shake n bake route from the HB is open as well as the drag & if you formation audible to PA then it will give you a HB flat delayed route that’s open vs any defense. Formation audible down to the run and its the deadly HB power O. I like to slide protect the opposite way I’m running vs 3 down linemen otherwise use aggressive slide protect for best results, this run is a monster when married with the motion.

Madden 10 Tips
Madden 10 Offensive Tip for MaddenFans.com:
Breakdown: This play is from gun tight flex found in the Run n Gun playbook, the play is called WR Cross. This play is best used for man to man defense but the unique HB route will also beat most coverages as well as the crossing routes vs any zone blitz blitz.

Madden 10 WR REVERSE
Here’s another great money play from The W.S.T Crew & MaddenFans.com
Play: Singleback WR Reverse (SF playbook)
Setup: Slide protect to sideline if line pinched or aggressive if not, look for a hole between TE & Tackle. Use a Speed receiver. To perform the QB sneak simply wait until 1 second then snap ball and run forward. This tactic will work with any auto-motion hand-off play.

Madden 10 Tips – Rocket Catch Defense
The last week I have been showing how to do different types of user catches/rocket catches. This week I will show how to defend these…
Play: Dime normal – strong roll 3
Setup: Press coverage, put RCB in purple and spotlight corresponding receiver he is covering. ( this will make the purple zone press coverage! ) make sure outside blitzing DB’s are NOT to close to the tackles or they wont be able to bring the outside pressure. Reblitz the RE & RDT. Hot route FS into deep blue after moving him by the left CB. Put MLB in deep blue when hes over center this will make him play deep mid creating a Tampa 2 defense. I like to then put the LDT in a spy and move him right over the center then hold LT. I wait 2 full seconds before dropping back into coverage (this will hold the center so he wont immediately help block the outside heat) don’t forget to leave comments & feedback!

Madden 10 Tips – Rocket Catch
Play: Snugs – Bench switch
Setup: block a slot receiver then streak other. Hit streak if open otherwise wait until corner post nears sideline. Throw bullet to sideline. before ball arrives to your receiver hold right stick down until he bends down then release when you want him to jump.
Thoughts: The rocket catch has many opinions and ways of doing it. Here we show one of the easiest ways using a corner post. Remember to use a tall receiver and don’t rely on him catching it every time. Ea has done a fine job with mid-air collisions which cause an incompletion.

Madden 10 Tips – CPU ROCKET CATCH
Madden 10 CPU ROCKET CATCH!
Play: ANY
Setup: If in the end zone use slant outs or fades or any play that will end up in the corner of the end zone. Anywhere else on the field use out route for best results. When the out route slows down and is 3-5 yards from sideline lob it to the crowd. For the end zone its done with the same lob but better if in the corner of the end zone depending on coverage.
Thoughts: This play is all about timing and remember if you mess up you can click on and manually make the catch. Also don’t try this with anyone with less than 92 jump or smaller than 6′2. This is a computer rocket catch so yes, it is allowed in SIM tournaments.

Madden 10 Nano Blitz
Play: 3-4 Even (any play)
Setup: Show blitz freeze the D (man align) Reblitz the linemen so there blitzing straight down. Blitz the (95 + speed) speedy SS on inside hip of DE (placement is key so refer to video) Put all linebackers in coverage and then blitz the ROLB (on right of screen) or come out with a play with the linebackers in coverage and just blitz the ROLB.
Thoughts: This is another great play from the 3-4 even scheme, this blitz is more of an overload but can also bring heat from the opposite side of the field if flipped. With a speed SS like Troy Polamalu this blitz screams at the QB while on sending five blitzers. Remember to come out with or hot route the appropriate coverages needed.
